Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Marcus Weinkauff got the match started through his kick off. Marcus Weinkauff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klaus Sombrutzki having to interfere. Klaus Sombrutzki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Hilkes, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pinkler FC's goalkeeper Hubert Lamprecht, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Samir Wilhelm kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hubert Lamprecht. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. Hubert Lamprecht didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 16th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Peter Hilkes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Klaus Sombrutzki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reto Spann, 21 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Franz Zimmermann fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arminia Bielefeld's protests and gave Franz Zimmermann a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th match minute, Arminia Bielefeld was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franz Zimmermann to maneuver through the defense. Samir Wilhelm struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Hubert Lamprecht didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arminia Bielefeld. Peter Hilkes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klaus Sombrutzki having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Marcus Weinkauff had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Klaus Sombrutzki. Arminia Bielefeld's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcus Weinkauff was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Hilkes in the 38th minute of play forced Arminia Bielefeld's goalkeeper Klaus Sombrutzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Peter Hilkes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Belusa in the 48th minute of play forced Pinkler FC's goalkeeper Hubert Lamprecht to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

After 51 played minutes Pinkler FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Kerschbaumer. Frank Belusa might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hubert Lamprecht. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Belusa ran back to his position shaking his head. After 62nd play minutes Frank Belusa shot 4-1, a short shot which went by Hubert Lamprecht and just under the crossbar into goal. If Frank Belusa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 67thth minute of the game Samir Wilhelm who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pinkler FC's Hubert Lamprecht was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arminia Bielefeld's goalkeeper Klaus Sombrutzki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Pinkler FC's Marcus Weinkauff in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arminia Bielefeld's goalie prevented a goal. Peter Hilkes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Klaus Sombrutzki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. After having played for 72 minutes, Marcus Weinkauff managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pinkler FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcus Weinkauff was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Arminia Bielefeld's Reimar Johnson got a free kick in the 76th minute. When the match had been going on for 87 minutes, Pinkler FC's Reto Spann got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Klaus Sombrutzki. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Belusa in the 90th minute of play forced Pinkler FC's goalkeeper Hubert Lamprecht to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Klaus Sombrutzki came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Pinkler FC's Peter Hilkes. But to his dismay, Peter Hilkes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3.
