Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sommertshausen FSV's Levan Dirks started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eberhard Pick charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eberhard Pick the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Sommertshausen FSV's Eberhard Pick got a free kick in the 7th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Werner Krey managed to get in a good position for a shot. AAlen's supporters rose to their feet, but Werner Krey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julian Falk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to AAlen getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Ludger Hasselbach hit a great ball. Jimmy Kasparick scored 1-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Philipp Scheller, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Immanuel Steinbrück was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 24 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Sommertshausen FSV:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of AAlen:s goal. After a rather tough play, Sommertshausen FSV's Jimmy Kasparick got a free kick in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Ludger Hasselbach had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julian Falk. Sommertshausen FSV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ludger Hasselbach was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Christian Beckmeyer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th minute, Marco Parpart got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to AAlen getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Ludger Hasselbach hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sommertshausen FSV's zone, Ludger Hasselbach stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julian Falk came out of the goal and Ludger Hasselbach tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Werner Krey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Werner Krey in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julian Falk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 47 minutes into the match, Sommertshausen FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Ludger Hasselbach came free, but Julian Falk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Werner Krey to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Christian Beckmeyer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sommertshausen FSV's Julian Falk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Christian Beckmeyer sped through Sommertshausen FSV's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julian Falk. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Malte Jank managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sommertshausen FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Malte Jank was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Philipp Scheller breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 1-4 became the score in the 62nd minute when Christian Beckmeyer elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Christian Beckmeyer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Julian Falk made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Marco Geisberger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sommertshausen FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Geisberger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Philipp Scheller breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christian Beckmeyer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raimund Schmitt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Philipp Scheller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 73 minutes of play, Sommertshausen FSV's Jimmy Kasparick made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Philipp Scheller was left in no man's land by his defense there! AAlen's Philipp Scheller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimmy Kasparick in the 77th minute of play. When Marco Parpart fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sommertshausen FSV's protests and gave Marco Parpart a yellow card for diving instead. In the 82nd match minute, AAlen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Schweiger to maneuver through the defense. Marco Geisberger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th match minute, Sommertshausen FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malte Jank to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute, Werner Krey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julian Falk was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. AAlen's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
