To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Louis Pulter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jan Kratz made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Louis Pulter sent off a good shot on target. If Adam Wilhelm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jakob Humpich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lasse Batsch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl Ertl in the 21st minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Karl Ertl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lasse Batsch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilhelm Schepoll's late challenge caught a ZFC Turbine's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilhelm Schepoll helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Westerhofen's Wilhelm Schepoll got a free kick in the 28th minute. Louis Pulter in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jan Kratz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 33rd minute, Jakob Humpich got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lasse Batsch was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Westerhofen played a much better game than ZFC Turbine and deserved their victory. The ZFC Turbine players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
