Antonio Kern showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gasparo Cengiz in the 40th minute of the match. In the 42nd play minute Edmund Felden came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lasse Batsch. 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Günter Dubrau made a kick off. Louis Pulter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Antonio Kern made a huge save. In the 57th minute, Achim Pätzel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Günter Dubrau took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lasse Batsch. Lasse Batsch dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Louis Pulter got free with Antonio Kern in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. During the 74th minute of the match Dustin Lützen completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dustin Lützen a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Dustin Lützen hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Louis Pulter got free with Antonio Kern in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Louis Pulter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jörg Sawade kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match.
