Sportfreunde Larrelt's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC RWE - INAKTIV the free kick. Simon Beckhaus went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Simon Beckhaus got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Antonio Kern quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Günter Dubrau sped through FC RWE - INAKTIV's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonas Djir. Apollo Sombrutzki charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Apollo Sombrutzki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 19 played minutes FC RWE - INAKTIV got a freekick which was hit by Apollo Sombrutzki. In the 21st match minute, Sportfreunde Larrelt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Achim Pätzel to maneuver through the defense. Tom Baumgart in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Antonio Kern, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Charlie Russok's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Antonio Kern firmly grabbed it by the left post. FC RWE - INAKTIV's Jonas Djir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Achim Pätzel in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Edmund Felden had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonas Djir. FC RWE - INAKTIV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmund Felden was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 39th minute, Edmund Felden got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edmund Felden hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. If Edmund Felden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Perez Wachsmann made the kick off in the second half. Tom Baumgart struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Antonio Kern didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC RWE - INAKTIV. In the 57th minute Perez Wachsmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Kern saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Perez Wachsmann in the 58th minute of play forced Sportfreunde Larrelt's goalkeeper Antonio Kern to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC RWE - INAKTIV's Jonas Djir proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save FC RWE - INAKTIV from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, FC RWE - INAKTIV's Simon Beckhaus got a free kick in the 74th minute. When Achim Pätzel came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Sportfreunde Larrelt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Achim Pätzel couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ashley Kahn during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
