Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Marcus Weinkauff made the kick off which started today's match. After 3 minutes of play, FC Ormont's Eckehard Dupke made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hubert Lamprecht was left in no man's land by his defense there! Peter Hilkes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Ferit Petzolt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 12 minutes of play, Pinkler FC's Marcus Weinkauff made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ferit Petzolt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hubert Lamprecht acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 15th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Wolf Bock. A collision led to Pinkler FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Joseph Brendlin hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pinkler FC's zone, Rainer Hollinghausen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hubert Lamprecht came out of the goal and Rainer Hollinghausen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arne von Egidy kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 28th minute of the match, Rainer Hollinghausen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hubert Lamprecht saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Eckehard Dupke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hubert Lamprecht having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, FC Ormont's Eckehard Dupke sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hubert Lamprecht narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eckehard Dupke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in FC Ormont's zone, Marcus Weinkauff stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferit Petzolt came out of the goal and Marcus Weinkauff tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Marcus Weinkauff managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pinkler FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcus Weinkauff was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the FC Ormont defense, Marcus Weinkauff kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ferit Petzolt. The FC Ormont fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ferit Petzolt should have stopped the shot. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rainer Hollinghausen to make the kick off. Hubert Lamprecht showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eckehard Dupke, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Peter Hilkess short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Ferit Petzolt to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. FC Ormont's Eckehard Dupke got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th minute, Rainer Hollinghausen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hubert Lamprecht was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. 67 minutes into the match, FC Ormont's Christoph Dähne sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hubert Lamprecht narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eckehard Dupke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hubert Lamprecht stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rainer Hollinghausen's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peter Hilkes got free with Ferit Petzolt in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wolf Bock during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Ormont's Wolf Bock got a free kick in the 84th minute. Hubertus Paziorek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Ormont's Ferit Petzolt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Weinkauff in the 93rd minute of play. Hubert Lamprecht took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eckehard Dupke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
