To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 26 minutes into the game, one of Herriehausen:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Hermann Piltz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Wilhelm Blecken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florian Kobel kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sascha Beier during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 36th minute of the match, Dennis Olano de got a very nice opportunity to score, but Wilhelm Blecken was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 37th minute, Hermann Piltz fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Wilhelm Blecken, passed just outside the right post. Hannes Bresack sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Wilhelm Blecken dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hannes Bresack got free with Nikolaus Stahl in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 96th minute Dennis Olano de shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilhelm Blecken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC Victoria Hamburg were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Herriehausen for a fine match.
