Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Clint Knipprath started the match with the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 3rd minute by Pascal Nellessen got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 5 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund's goalkeeper Tim Kreissler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pascal Nellessen. Friedrich Sulzer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute Clint Knipprath shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Dickhut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pascal Nellessen ran back to his position shaking his head. Friedrich Sulzer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adolf Pfau during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tim Kreissler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascal Nellessen in the 54th minute of the match. Friedrich Sulzer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Tim Kreissler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Clint Knipprath got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Molkenberg getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Bum-Kun Lindenberg hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the match, Manuel Gemar notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Molkenberg's Albert Dickhut. Albert Dickhut was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 73rd match minute, Molkenberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartholomäus Paul to maneuver through the defense. Pascal Nellessen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Borussia Dortmund getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Leroy Aigner hit a great ball. If Adolf Pfau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Clint Knipprath kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Albert Dickhut. That made the score 1-2 in the 90 minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Friedrich Sulzer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tim Kreissler. Borussia Dortmund's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Friedrich Sulzer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
