Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bastian Neuwinger in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joseph Strauss prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josip Barow in the 24th minute of play forced UNION LÜDINGHAUSEN's goalkeeper Tim Bache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Enak Schwarzfischer came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Paris Saint Germain fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enak Schwarzfischer couldn't finish the play. Tim Bache made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Paul Oswald sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 32 minutes, Enak Schwarzfischer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paris Saint Germain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enak Schwarzfischer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enak Schwarzfischer scored 3-0 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tim Bache, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 38th minute, Gideon Schreiber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, UNION LÜDINGHAUSEN's Tim Bache got control of the ball when Paul Oswald tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 40th minute of the match Cosimo Suchowitzki shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tim Bache showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Paul Oswald's late challenge caught a UNION LÜDINGHAUSEN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paul Oswald helped the player get up and apologised. After 42 played minutes Paris Saint Germain got a freekick which was hit by Paul Oswald. The corner led UNION LÜDINGHAUSEN's Christo Olaidotter to a score. 3-2 in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sven Lorei to make the kick off. In the 65thth minute of the game Bastian Neuwinger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paris Saint Germain's Joseph Strauss was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 66th minute, Bastian Neuwinger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joseph Strauss was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. Tim Bache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Oswald in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute Sven Lorei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Bache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Bastian Neuwinger fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Joseph Strauss, passed just outside the right post. In the 93rd minute, Bastian Neuwinger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the UNION LÜDINGHAUSEN players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Paris Saint Germain.
