With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hannes Bresack in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laurence Sattler saved Sportfreunde King from getting behind. In the 7th minute of the match, Lothar Hach tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wilhelm Blecken saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Sportfreunde King booed when Herriehausen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florian Kobel didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Berko Schaub came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Sportfreunde King fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Berko Schaub couldn't finish the play. Herriehausen's Wilhelm Blecken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Sawitzki in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute Martin Kwast shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurence Sattler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute Lothar Hach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilhelm Blecken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Sportfreunde King's Berko Schaub ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wilhelm Blecken. Wilhelm Blecken yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Wilhelm Blecken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lothar Hach, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Berko Schaub received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Wilhelm Blecken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Herriehausen's zone, Lothar Hach stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilhelm Blecken came out of the goal and Lothar Hach tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Martin Kwast had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Sawitzki during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Sportfreunde King getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Felix Sawitzki hit a great ball.

The wind increased when Lothar Hach made the kick off in the second half. Lothar Hach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilhelm Blecken having to interfere. Lothar Hach's late challenge caught a Herriehausen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lothar Hach helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sportfreunde King's Lothar Hach got a free kick in the 54th minute. When Sportfreunde King's Lothar Hach in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Herriehausen's goalie prevented a goal. In the 58th minute, Lothar Hach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Florian Kobel fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Herriehausen's protests and gave Florian Kobel a yellow card for diving instead. Ole Gallasch took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wilhelm Blecken. Herriehausen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Berko Schaub sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute, Berko Schaub got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Herriehausen getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Berti Langguth hit a great ball. Lothar Hach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilhelm Blecken having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Herriehausen's Sascha Beier got a free kick in the 74th minute. Sportfreunde King's Laurence Sattler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Sportfreunde King from getting a goal against them. Martin Kwast struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Laurence Sattler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Herriehausen. In the 88th minute, Berko Schaub got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lothar Hach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sportfreunde King fully deserved thier win.
