Spectators: 5610 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 10) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bastian Neuwinger got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, UNION LÜDINGHAUSEN's Franz Degen got a free kick in the 2nd minute. A collision led to UNION LÜDINGHAUSEN getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Dag Weiß hit a great ball. Bastian Neuwinger might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erasmus Strauch. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bastian Neuwinger ran back to his position shaking his head. 17 minutes into the match, UNION LÜDINGHAUSEN's goal looked a bit too open when Toralf Schwarz came free, but Tim Bache reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 19 minutes, Christo Olaidotter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UNION LÜDINGHAUSEN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christo Olaidotter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Franz Degen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Obersgegen booed when UNION LÜDINGHAUSEN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franz Degen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, UNION LÜDINGHAUSEN's Christo Olaidotter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erasmus Strauch narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Helmut Rousek fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Obersgegen's protests and gave Helmut Rousek a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Obersgegen's Toralf Schwarz got a free kick in the 37th minute. Tim Bache came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Obersgegen's Gerrit Reichel. But to his dismay, Gerrit Reichel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in UNION LÜDINGHAUSEN's zone, Gerrit Reichel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tim Bache came out of the goal and Gerrit Reichel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Dag Weiß fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UNION LÜDINGHAUSEN's protests and gave Dag Weiß a yellow card for diving instead. After 44 played minutes UNION LÜDINGHAUSEN got a freekick which was hit by Dag Weiß. In the 45th minute of the match Roger Oppenheim shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tim Bache showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toralf Schwarz in the 46th minute of play forced UNION LÜDINGHAUSEN's goalkeeper Tim Bache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Philipp Fröhlich made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Toralf Schwarz fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Tim Bache, passed just outside the right post. In the 53rd minute Philipp Fröhlich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Bache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd match minute, UNION LÜDINGHAUSEN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franz Degen to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the match, UNION LÜDINGHAUSEN's goal looked a bit too open when Gerrit Reichel came free, but Tim Bache reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gideon Schreiber kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. UNION LÜDINGHAUSEN's Tim Bache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerrit Reichel in the 67th minute of play. With a little luck, UNION LÜDINGHAUSEN's Tim Bache got control of the ball when Toralf Schwarz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Toralf Schwarz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bastian Neuwinger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmus Strauch having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Philipp Fröhlich had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tim Bache. UNION LÜDINGHAUSEN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Philipp Fröhlich was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. 80 minutes into the match, Obersgegen's goal looked a bit too open when Bastian Neuwinger came free, but Erasmus Strauch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toralf Schwarz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tim Bache came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Obersgegen's Gerrit Reichel. But to his dismay, Gerrit Reichel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 88th match minute, UNION LÜDINGHAUSEN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gideon Schreiber to maneuver through the defense. Roger Oppenheim was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 89th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Tim Bache took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Philipp Fröhlich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tim Bache made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toralf Schwarz in the 92nd minute. Gideon Schreiber kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bastian Neuwinger in the 95th minute of play forced Obersgegen's goalkeeper Erasmus Strauch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
