Spectators: 7307 (Terracing: 5707, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Friedrich Sulzer started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 5 minutes of play, Lokomotiv USSR's Olaf Landgraf made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albert Dickhut was left in no man's land by his defense there! Molkenberg's Pascal Nellessen got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Friedrich Sulzer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olaf Peekhaus having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv USSR's goal looked a bit too open when Friedrich Sulzer came free, but Olaf Peekhaus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 played minutes Molkenberg got a freekick which was hit by Bartholomäus Paul. When Bartholomäus Paul fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Molkenberg's protests and gave Bartholomäus Paul a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Molkenberg's Bartholomäus Paul got a free kick in the 28th minute. Albert Dickhut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olaf Landgraf, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The audience was convinced that Anders Kamp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Albert Dickhut was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Molkenberg's Albert Dickhut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anders Kamp in the 36th minute of play. Olaf Landgraf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Albert Dickhut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anders Kamp to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Olaf Landgraf made a precise shot to the right of Albert Dickhut. Molkenberg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After 58 played minutes Anders Kamp rounded Molkenberg's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-4. Lokomotiv USSR's Olaf Landgraf got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Olaf Landgraf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Lokomotiv USSR fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Lokomotiv USSR's Olaf Landgraf looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd rose to their feet as Anders Kamp kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Albert Dickhut. That made the score 0-6 in the 70 minute of play. Anders Kamp's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Albert Dickhut skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Pascal Nellessen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manfred Königshaus kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Albert Dickhut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anders Kamp in the 88th minute of the match. Olaf Landgraf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Dickhut having to interfere. When the match was over Lokomotiv USSR could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Molkenberg throughout the match.
