The Molkenberg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Berko Schaub fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Dickhut having to interfere. Berko Schaub could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Albert Dickhut made a huge save. Sportfreunde King's Laurence Sattler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascal Nellessen in the 26th minute of play. Felix Sawitzki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Berko Schaub struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Albert Dickhut didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sportfreunde King. After a defensive mix-up in Molkenberg's zone, Felix Sawitzki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albert Dickhut came out of the goal and Felix Sawitzki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Felix Sawitzki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the match, Bartholomäus Paul had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Laurence Sattler. Sportfreunde King's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bartholomäus Paul was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Berko Schaub made a kick off. Pascal Nellessen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Laurence Sattler made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Berko Schaub managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sportfreunde King's supporters rose to their feet, but Berko Schaub was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albert Dickhut breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Berko Schaub sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 65thth minute of the game Felix Sawitzki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Molkenberg's Albert Dickhut was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Molkenberg's Manfred Königshaus got his second yellow card of the match in the 66th minute. The referee ordered Manfred Königshaus off the ground. The supporters of Sportfreunde King booed when Molkenberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manfred Königshaus didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Sportfreunde King's Berko Schaub in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Molkenberg's goalie prevented a goal. Albert Dickhut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berko Schaub, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
