When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Walter Jacobs sped through SSC Eberswalde's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hilbert Bardhan. In the 9th match minute, SSC Eberswalde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eckart Wieczorek to maneuver through the defense. Friedrich Wellenreuther fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilbert Bardhan having to interfere. Eckart Wieczorek's late challenge caught a Hools Dynamo 53's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eckart Wieczorek helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th minute, Eckart Wieczorek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the match, SSC Eberswalde's Eckart Wieczorek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karim Pitsch narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daniel Bonaventura struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Hilbert Bardhan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hools Dynamo 53. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Klara Propst managed to get in a good position for a shot. SSC Eberswalde's supporters rose to their feet, but Klara Propst was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felix Hens charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Hens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hilbert Bardhan came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Hools Dynamo 53's Daniel Bonaventura. But to his dismay, Daniel Bonaventura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Rudi Terstappen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Karim Pitsch made a huge save. Günther Tschorn kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Karim Pitsch made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Rudi Terstappen sent off a good shot on target. Yannis Kemmerle charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yannis Kemmerle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd minute, one of Hools Dynamo 53:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hools Dynamo 53. After the first half Hools Dynamo 53 were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Rudi Terstappen made the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes of play Hools Dynamo 53's Felix Hens was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 55th minute, Felix Hens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudi Terstappen in the 59th minute of play forced Hools Dynamo 53's goalkeeper Karim Pitsch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Hools Dynamo 53 booed when SSC Eberswalde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Özgür Berres didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th match minute, SSC Eberswalde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eckart Wieczorek to maneuver through the defense.
