Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Westhoven FC's Viktor Keirath started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fjodor Dey hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Keirath in the 3rd minute of play forced FC Rennertshofen's goalkeeper Federico Lausberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the game, Eberhard Glatzer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Westhoven FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Rennertshofen the free kick. The supporters of FC Rennertshofen booed when Westhoven FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eberhard Glatzer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mattis Schlode made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walther Brocke in the 16th minute of play. After 18 minutes of play, FC Rennertshofen's Frank Joachimsmeier made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mattis Schlode was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gregor Mitsch's late challenge caught a FC Rennertshofen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gregor Mitsch helped the player get up and apologised. Gregor Mitsch kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Federico Lausberg made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Gil Remus sent off a good shot on target. Hernando Burger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattis Schlode having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Jo Schroth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute Ismail Lösekrug shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattis Schlode saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mattis Schlode took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Joachimsmeier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gil Remus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Westhoven FC's Viktor Keirath in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Rennertshofen's goalie prevented a goal. The Westhoven FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Rennertshofen were winning 0-2.

After a defensive mix-up in FC Rennertshofen's zone, Gil Remus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Federico Lausberg came out of the goal and Gil Remus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Federico Lausberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktor Keirath, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Viktor Keirath received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Federico Lausberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gregor Mitsch was shown his second yellow card after 59 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 60th match minute, Westhoven FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregor Mitsch to maneuver through the defense. Frank Joachimsmeier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 78 minutes into the game, Viktor Keirath cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Federico Lausberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Westhoven FC's Sébastien Odenbach got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Mattis Schlode showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernando Burger in the 84th minute of the match. Mattis Schlode made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Frank Joachimsmeier sent off a good shot on target. Frank Joachimsmeier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mattis Schlode having to make a save. Gerold Stieglitz kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Westhoven FC's goalkeeper Mattis Schlode had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Joachimsmeier. When Gil Remus came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Westhoven FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gil Remus couldn't finish the play. FC Rennertshofen's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
