Spectators: 7381 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Benny Nehl took the kick off in the first half of the match. Barry Ahrens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Ralph Spegele made a huge save. In the 9th minute, Karsten Koss left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FR ost fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karsten Koss in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guido Schwochow saved SV Werners Bremen from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karsten Koss in the 17th minute of play forced SV Werners Bremen's goalkeeper Guido Schwochow to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FR ost's Justin Klomfaß got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Reno Thielsch fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SV Werners Bremen's protests and gave Reno Thielsch a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SV Werners Bremen getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Reno Thielsch hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benny Nehl in the 27th minute of play forced FR ost's goalkeeper Ralph Spegele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Fedor Bieberstein sped through SV Werners Bremen's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Guido Schwochow. If Sönke Hummel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fedor Bieberstein recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fedor Bieberstein in the 47th minute of play forced SV Werners Bremen's goalkeeper Guido Schwochow to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karsten Koss to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, SV Werners Bremen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barry Ahrens to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 56 in the game by Sönke Hummel from a close distance when the talented Guido Schwochow managed to make a qualified save. SV Werners Bremen's players were relieved. If Fedor Bieberstein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sönke Hummel came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the FR ost fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sönke Hummel couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Piedro Wagener during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Karsten Koss kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Guido Schwochow. That made the score 0-5 in the 63 minute of play. If Sönke Hummel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute of the match, Fedor Bieberstein tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Guido Schwochow saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Miguel Hentrop fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guido Schwochow having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Hentrop got free with Guido Schwochow in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Karsten Koss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Guido Schwochow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Justin Klomfaß fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guido Schwochow having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in SV Werners Bremen's zone, Miguel Hentrop stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guido Schwochow came out of the goal and Miguel Hentrop tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Miguel Hentrop managed to get in a good position for a shot. FR ost's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Hentrop was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guido Schwochow breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Miguel Hentrop struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Guido Schwochow didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FR ost. After having played for 90 minutes, Miguel Hentrop managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FR ost's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Hentrop was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sönke Hummel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Sönke Hummel managed to get in a good position for a shot. FR ost's supporters rose to their feet, but Sönke Hummel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guido Schwochow breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The SV Werners Bremen fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FR ost were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
