In the 26th minute, Heinrich Baader got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Ihrenbrück's Otmar Huber got a free kick in the 27th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Hassan Dettmann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilken Burkhardt. After a defensive mix-up in Ihrenbrück's zone, Paco Maisch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilken Burkhardt came out of the goal and Paco Maisch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Hassan Dettmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kornelius Dujic charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kornelius Dujic the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kornelius Dujic hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Gustel Kremmers's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Willi Vollberg firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ihrenbrück's Wilken Burkhardt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eckhardt Harnack in the 68th minute of play. In the 71stth minute of the game Eckhardt Harnack who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ihrenbrück's Wilken Burkhardt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When KSV Hessen Kassel's Eckhardt Harnack in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 80th match minute, Ihrenbrück was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joachim von Berg to maneuver through the defense. Hassan Dettmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilken Burkhardt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thorsten Behn, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Ihrenbrück's Wilken Burkhardt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heinrich Baader in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th minute, Theodor Rocker ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Willi Vollberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. When the final whistle went the supporters of Ihrenbrück were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant KSV Hessen Kassel side.
