Stig Seeger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Bernhard Kauch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 6 played minutes Fc Laband got a freekick which was hit by Damian Feldmann. Fc Laband's Fortunato Meister played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Rübin in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute Damian Rübin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortunato Meister saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Rübin in the 14th minute of play forced Fc Laband's goalkeeper Fortunato Meister to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hoykenkamp's Bernhard Kauch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Hoykenkamp from getting a goal against them. Damian Rübin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fortunato Meister having to interfere. Carl Müller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Stig Seeger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Laband's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig Seeger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernhard Kauch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carl Müller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Carl Müller came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Fc Laband fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carl Müller couldn't finish the play. Carl Müller could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Bernhard Kauch made a huge save. Bernhard Kauch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig Seeger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute of the match Kersten Schröer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fortunato Meister showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stig Seeger to strike the kick off in the second half. When Carl Müller came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Fc Laband fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carl Müller couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Hoykenkamp's Damian Rübin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fortunato Meister. That made the score 0-1 after 61 minutes of play. After 64 played minutes Hoykenkamp got a freekick which was hit by Gottlieb Schröder. If Damian Rübin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The referee showed Damian Feldmann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Damian Feldmann hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The Fc Laband supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Hoykenkamp's performance. The match ended with a win for Hoykenkamp.
