Tyron Schewe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fortunato Meister came out and tried to block the shot, but Tyron Schewe slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. When Torbjörn Schwarz fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fc Laband's protests and gave Torbjörn Schwarz a yellow card for diving instead. Torbjörn Schwarz hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Tim Schavier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raoul Rubeck might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fortunato Meister. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raoul Rubeck ran back to his position shaking his head. Theo Jendrossek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Theo Jendrossek put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fortunato Meister. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raoul Rubeck to strike the kick off in the second half. Fc Laband's Fortunato Meister played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theo Jendrossek in the 51st minute of play. Stig Seeger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stig Seeger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otmar Strasbach having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Islamspor's zone, Carl Müller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Otmar Strasbach came out of the goal and Carl Müller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Fc Laband booed when Islamspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Balthasar Aubert didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Fc Laband's Stig Seeger, in the 63rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Fc Laband. Fortunato Meister made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raoul Rubeck in the 66th minute of play. Theo Jendrossek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Fortunato Meister tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Carl Müller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the game, Balthasar Aubert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Islamspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fc Laband the free kick. After 78 played minutes Islamspor got a freekick which was hit by Balthasar Aubert. Islamspor's Otmar Strasbach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig Seeger in the 80th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Carl Müller notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Islamspor's Otmar Strasbach. Otmar Strasbach was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 87 played minutes Fc Laband got a freekick which was hit by Toralf Casper. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Islamspor fully deserved thier win.
