That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. In the 7th minute, SV Barkas Frankenberg's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mark Jacobs fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to SV Barkas Frankenberg getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Jesse Orben hit a great ball. In the 11th minute Thorsten Gawletta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Kaspar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute, Thorsten Gawletta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th minute Thorsten Gawletta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Kaspar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Max Groh scored 1-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stefan Kaspar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of CSC Lindwωrm booed when SV Barkas Frankenberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raoul Schürhoff didn't get a good kick on the ball. Addi Trumpf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erich Pickhardt having to interfere. When Frank Sänger fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CSC Lindwωrm's protests and gave Frank Sänger a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to CSC Lindwωrm getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Frank Sänger hit a great ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Thorsten Gawletta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SV Barkas Frankenberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thorsten Gawletta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Addi Trumpf stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 61 minutes of play, CSC Lindwωrm's Mark Jacobs made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erich Pickhardt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Erich Pickhardt came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by CSC Lindwωrm's Mark Jacobs. But to his dismay, Mark Jacobs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Max Groh hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After 90 played minutes, SV Barkas Frankenberg's Jesse Orben shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stefan Kaspar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SV Barkas Frankenberg reached it. Stefan Kaspar was a little too slow when Max Groh got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 3-2. CSC Lindwωrm's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
