Walter Meise hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Kilian Baumbach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Prehn in the 29th minute of play. Sigurd Zanter charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sigurd Zanter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sigurd Zanter kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Kevin Kondla took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kilian Baumbach. FC Leading City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Monty Schröder could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Kilian Baumbach made a huge save. FC Leading City's Kilian Baumbach proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save FC Leading City from getting a goal against them. Kilian Baumbach made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Monty Schröder sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hischam Balko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Monty Schröder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kilian Baumbach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the game, Klaus Wülfing was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kella FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Leading City the free kick. In the 56th minute, Tobias Baum hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Schröder in the 64th minute of play forced FC Leading City's goalkeeper Kilian Baumbach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paolo Gerhold kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Kella FC's Monty Schröder got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Torsten Reymann hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After 93 played minutes Kella FC got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Baum. With a little luck, Kella FC's John Baader got control of the ball when Jonas Drewes tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Leading City's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
