Große Pause's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Kasztany the free kick. Daniel Kölzig kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Paul Thönnes managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Große Pause's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Jonathan Brennecke scored to the left of an out of position Frederik Luther, making the score, 1-0. With a little luck, Große Pause's Frederik Luther got control of the ball when Özcan Gloser tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th minute, Jens Ziganner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frederik Luther made an important save on a dangerous shot by Özcan Gloser in the 35th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC Kasztany's zone, Fabian Kissel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esau Papaspyratos came out of the goal and Fabian Kissel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Özcan Gloser's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Frederik Luther skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 40 minutes, Roland Dirks mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Große Pause and the FC Kasztany players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th match minute, Große Pause was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Dirks to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Brennecke in the 44th minute of play forced Große Pause's goalkeeper Frederik Luther to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 played minutes Große Pause got a freekick which was hit by Bertram Artmaier. After 47 played minutes Große Pause got a freekick which was hit by Roland Dirks.

If Özcan Gloser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frederik Luther made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Brennecke in the 55th minute of play. The supporters of FC Kasztany booed when Große Pause was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Schwanitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the match, FC Kasztany's Adam Arm broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Jonathan Brennecke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Frederik Luther tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fabian Kissel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Kasztany's Esau Papaspyratos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save FC Kasztany from getting a goal against them. In the 65thth minute of the game Harald Ellinghaus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Kasztany's Esau Papaspyratos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Brennecke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Frederik Luther tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Große Pause's goalkeeper Frederik Luther, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 69thth minute of the game Jonathan Brennecke who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Große Pause's Frederik Luther was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Brennecke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Özcan Gloser managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Kasztany's supporters rose to their feet, but Özcan Gloser was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frederik Luther breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Jonathan Brennecke came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the FC Kasztany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Brennecke couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Özcan Gloser in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frederik Luther saved Große Pause from getting behind. If Jonathan Brennecke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Özcan Gloser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederik Luther having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Jonathan Brennecke left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Kasztany fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Frederik Luther made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Brennecke in the 89th minute of play. After having played for 90 minutes, Özcan Gloser managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Kasztany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Özcan Gloser was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Brennecke struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Frederik Luther didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Kasztany. Eberhard Pfannkuch kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. There was no doubt that FC Kasztany were the better team. FC Kasztany's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
