Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) FC Leading City's Hischam Balko started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kilian Baumbach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harald Ostmeyer in the 5th minute of play. In the 10th match minute, SC Goodbye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvain Wohlfart to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arved Eschenbaum in the 12th minute of play forced FC Leading City's goalkeeper Kilian Baumbach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Jonas Drewes fired a really elegant long shot, but Rudi Uebach threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Hischam Balko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Rudi Uebach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the FC Leading City defense, Harald Ostmeyer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kilian Baumbach. The FC Leading City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kilian Baumbach should have stopped the shot. If Hischam Balko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hischam Balko in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rudi Uebach, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Hischam Balko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harald Ostmeyer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kilian Baumbach having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Harald Ostmeyer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rudi Uebach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willi Heine in the 54th minute of the match. Theo Lachmann charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Theo Lachmann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 55th match minute, SC Goodbye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theo Lachmann to maneuver through the defense. Arved Eschenbaum could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Kilian Baumbach made a huge save. After 61 minutes, Hanno Zocholl mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Goodbye and the FC Leading City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hanno Zocholl hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 64thth minute of the game Hischam Balko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Goodbye's Rudi Uebach was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. During the 64th minute of the match Hanno Zocholl completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Hanno Zocholl a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Hanno Zocholl kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After 66 played minutes SC Goodbye got a freekick which was hit by Arved Eschenbaum. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hischam Balko in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rudi Uebach saved SC Goodbye from getting behind. Rudi Uebach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hischam Balko in the 70th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in SC Goodbye's zone, Jonas Drewes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rudi Uebach came out of the goal and Jonas Drewes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hischam Balko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Rudi Uebach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hischam Balko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rudi Uebach stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hischam Balko's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Jonas Drewes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudi Uebach having to interfere. In the 90th minute Hischam Balko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudi Uebach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 97 minutes into the match, FC Leading City's goalkeeper Kilian Baumbach had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arved Eschenbaum. FC Leading City were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
