In the 16th minute, Putzenberg FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hermann Kania fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Elmar Redtel stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Carl Polzin. 1-1. 38 minutes into the game, Elmar Redtel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Putzenberg FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ЦСКА Lippstadt the free kick. Putzenberg FC:s Jens Thomanek showed great skill when he stopped Sean Witty:s penalty. Sean Witty received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jens Thomanek came out and tried to block the shot, but Sean Witty slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 39th minute. Hermann Kania received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Jens Thomanek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rene Rosentritt to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, ЦСКА Lippstadt's goalkeeper Carl Polzin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Holger Rechmann. Arvid Volkmann charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Berthold Wesseler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Jens Thomanek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 69 minutes, Adolf Wollenschläger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Putzenberg FC and the ЦСКА Lippstadt players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jens Thomanek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berthold Wesseler in the 79th minute of play. Hermann Kania scored 4-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jens Thomanek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rene Rosentritt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl Polzin having to interfere. If Rene Rosentritt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jens Thomanek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berthold Wesseler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ЦСКА Lippstadt fans cheered their team off the field, for while Putzenberg FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
