Karl Ustorf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Rosentritt in the 11th minute of the match. When Elmo Dettinger came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the G.A.L.A.T.A.S.A.R.A.Y fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elmo Dettinger couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in G.A.L.A.T.A.S.A.R.A.Y's zone, Rene Rosentritt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl Ustorf came out of the goal and Rene Rosentritt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Holger Rechmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Ustorf having to interfere. Manfred Freund in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jens Thomanek, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Manfred Freund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Jens Thomanek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Manfred Freund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The G.A.L.A.T.A.S.A.R.A.Y fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Holger Rechmann couldn't finish the play. If Holger Rechmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. G.A.L.A.T.A.S.A.R.A.Y's Karl Ustorf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Holger Rechmann in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Rene Rosentritt made the kick off in the second half. Manfred Freund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elmo Dettinger struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Jens Thomanek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for G.A.L.A.T.A.S.A.R.A.Y. After a rather tough play, Putzenberg FC's Mauritz Jan Rennert got a free kick in the 68th minute. Putzenberg FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave G.A.L.A.T.A.S.A.R.A.Y the free kick. After a rather tough play, Putzenberg FC's Charlie Wolff got a free kick in the 92nd minute.
