The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabian Kissel got free with Karl Ustorf in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Fabian Kissel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 29 minutes, Rodolfo Gradistanac mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the G.A.L.A.T.A.S.A.R.A.Y and the Große Pause players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, G.A.L.A.T.A.S.A.R.A.Y's Rodolfo Gradistanac got a free kick in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Große Pause's Norbert Winkler broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Harald Ellinghaus came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Große Pause fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harald Ellinghaus couldn't finish the play. Karl Ustorf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harald Ellinghaus in the 34th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manfred Freund to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Große Pause getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Bertram Artmaier hit a great ball. Stephan Reifenstein's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Frederik Luther skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 59th match minute, Große Pause was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harald Ellinghaus to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Fabian Kissel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Große Pause's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabian Kissel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl Ustorf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd minute Harald Ellinghaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Ustorf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Kölzig during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 65th minute, Daniel Kölzig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Fabian Kissel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to G.A.L.A.T.A.S.A.R.A.Y getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Stephan Reifenstein hit a great ball. Große Pause's Frederik Luther proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Große Pause from getting a goal against them. 82 minutes into the match, Fabian Kissel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl Ustorf. G.A.L.A.T.A.S.A.R.A.Y's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabian Kissel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 86th minute, Manfred Freund reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Frederik Luther. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 90th minute of the match, Arnold Doderer got a very nice opportunity to score, but Frederik Luther was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Frederik Luther was a little too slow when Arnold Doderer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. G.A.L.A.T.A.S.A.R.A.Y walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
