Lucian Goldblum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvo Domröse in the 3rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frederik Blassen in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claus Rockstein prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 13 minutes, Frederik Blassen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. fc fenerbahce's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frederik Blassen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frederik Blassen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Claus Rockstein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claus Rockstein stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Knut Münstermann's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. In the 21st minute Frederik Blassen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claus Rockstein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Frederik Blassen managed to get in a good position for a shot. fc fenerbahce's supporters rose to their feet, but Frederik Blassen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claus Rockstein breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Claus Rockstein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Knut Münstermann, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Torsten Schulte was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 28 minutes into the match. Torsten Schulte kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. fc fenerbahce's Lucian Goldblum proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save fc fenerbahce from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Knut Münstermann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claus Rockstein was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Armin Lanzerath recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucian Goldblum was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Luis Wyes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luis Wyes really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Schkölen's zone, Samuel Hoffmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claus Rockstein came out of the goal and Samuel Hoffmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Knut Münstermann in the 47th minute of play forced Schkölen's goalkeeper Claus Rockstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Luis Wyes made the kick off in the second half. Luis Wyes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd match minute, fc fenerbahce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Hoffmann to maneuver through the defense. Hristo Drewniak was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 63rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 65th minute Luis Wyes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucian Goldblum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Knut Münstermann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Claus Rockstein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samuel Hoffmann struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Claus Rockstein didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for fc fenerbahce. Luis Wyes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 76th minute, Knut Münstermann made a precise shot to the right of Claus Rockstein. Schkölen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Maximilian Pfeffermann kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute Abdelaziz Moos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucian Goldblum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th match minute, fc fenerbahce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armin Lanzerath to maneuver through the defense. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
