Arthur Alt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Clark Seidel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Torsten Prautzsch struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Wilfried Goldberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Hohenfelde. If Lorenzo Kraft had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the match, FC Trani's Arthur Alt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Clark Seidel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Wilhelm Noth's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clark Seidel was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Helmut Scheifler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 22 played minutes FC Hohenfelde got a freekick which was hit by Tom Vuchelich. In the 23rd minute, Arthur Alt made a precise shot to the right of Clark Seidel. FC Hohenfelde's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Lorenzo Kraft fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Trani's protests and gave Lorenzo Kraft a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Hohenfelde booed when FC Trani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Kraft didn't get a good kick on the ball. Helmut Scheifler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 32 minutes into the match, FC Trani's Arthur Alt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Clark Seidel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When FC Trani's Wilhelm Noth in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Hohenfelde's goalie prevented a goal. FC Hohenfelde's Tom Vuchelich got his second yellow card of the match in the 41st minute. The referee ordered Tom Vuchelich off the ground. After 48 played minutes FC Hohenfelde got a freekick which was hit by Heinz Seelmann. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

In the 53rd minute, Gottlieb Klöffer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 54 played minutes FC Hohenfelde got a freekick which was hit by Torsten Prautzsch. FC Hohenfelde's Clark Seidel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilhelm Noth in the 58th minute of play. Clark Seidel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilhelm Noth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arthur Alt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute, Helmut Scheifler made a precise shot to the right of Wilfried Goldberg. FC Trani's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Torsten Prautzsch kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Clark Seidel acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 70th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Balko Hoppen. 73 minutes into the match, Arthur Alt dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Clark Seidel, 1-2. Wilfried Goldberg came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Hohenfelde's Torsten Prautzsch. But to his dismay, Torsten Prautzsch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Torsten Prautzsch might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilfried Goldberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Torsten Prautzsch ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 92nd match minute, FC Trani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Kraft to maneuver through the defense. FC Hohenfelde's Clark Seidel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save FC Hohenfelde from getting a goal against them. After having played for 98 minutes, Arthur Alt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Trani's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arthur Alt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
