Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wilfried Lohmüller kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the game, SV Sötenich's Egon Kampeter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joachim Frese made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, SV Sötenich's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfried Lohmüller came free, but Kristian Biewald reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustav Grauslich's late challenge caught a SV Sötenich's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustav Grauslich helped the player get up and apologised. After 9 played minutes Puch got a freekick which was hit by Gustav Grauslich. After a defensive mix-up in SV Sötenich's zone, Flo Bontz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristian Biewald came out of the goal and Flo Bontz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kristian Biewald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfried Lohmüller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boris Breuer charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boris Breuer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th minute, one of SV Sötenich:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SV Sötenich. Puchs' Kristian Biewald just managed to throw himself towards the right post in the 22ndth minute after Özgür Ostendorfs penalty, and stop a certain goal. Henry Heidrich made in the 25th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SV Sötenich's Matias Günther. 31 minutes into the match, SV Sötenich's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfried Lohmüller came free, but Kristian Biewald reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Wilfried Lohmüller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute Gustav Grauslich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristian Biewald saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kristian Biewald made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfried Lohmüller in the 46th minute of play. The Puch players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SV Sötenich were winning 0-1.

In the 58th match minute, SV Sötenich was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markus Paul Hillekes to maneuver through the defense. In a very dangerous position, a player in SV Sötenich fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! In the 69th minute, Matias Günther fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Kristian Biewald showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pär Buhrmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 83rd minute, Wilfried Lohmüller ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kristian Biewald was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. When Markus Paul Hillekes fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SV Sötenich's protests and gave Markus Paul Hillekes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th minute, Markus Paul Hillekes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pär Buhrmann in the 92nd minute of play forced SV Sötenich's goalkeeper Kristian Biewald to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dag Klöser kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Many of SV Sötenich's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. SV Sötenich may have spent more time on the ball, but Puch were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
