Lucian Goldblum was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Laurence Velten showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 18 minute of play. Samuel Hoffmann charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Samuel Hoffmann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, fc fenerbahce's Samuel Hoffmann got a free kick in the 20th minute. After having played for 60 minutes, Knut Münstermann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. fc fenerbahce's supporters crossed their fingers, but Knut Münstermann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the fc fenerbahce defense, Mattias Witlatschil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucian Goldblum. The fc fenerbahce fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucian Goldblum should have stopped the shot. fc fenerbahce's Lucian Goldblum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurence Velten in the 69th minute of play. Stoißberg's Siegmund Mäncher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederik Blassen in the 74th minute of play. If Mattias Witlatschil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leonid Bontz shot from long distance in the 95th minute, but Siegmund Mäncher was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Stoißberg's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
