The wind increased when Jakob Jansch made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Heiko Hennicke in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Georg Grasedieck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 53rd minute Heiko Hennicke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georg Grasedieck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerd Trumpf ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 78 minutes, Gerd Trumpf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borussia Mönchengladbach's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerd Trumpf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Georg Grasedieck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerd Trumpf in the 81st minute. The supporters of Harbarnsen FC booed when Borussia Mönchengladbach was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heiko Hennicke didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 86 played minutes Harbarnsen FC got a freekick which was hit by Rasmus Dött. 90 minutes into the match, Harbarnsen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Heiko Hennicke came free, but Georg Grasedieck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Georg Grasedieck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heiko Hennicke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Harbarnsen FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Borussia Mönchengladbach were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
