Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Otis Mauthe took the kick off in the first half of the match. Georg Marke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otis Mauthe in the 6th minute of play. When Arjen Jetter fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kiekbusch's protests and gave Arjen Jetter a yellow card for diving instead. Arjen Jetter kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Otis Mauthe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georg Marke having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Gerd Gill left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kiekbusch fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Otis Mauthe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kiekbusch's supporters rose to their feet, but Otis Mauthe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Georg Marke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcus Greilinger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Odo Petershagen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Georg Marke stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Otis Mauthe's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Henglarn's Georg Marke proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Henglarn from getting a goal against them. Georg Marke was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Otis Mauthe capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Otis Mauthe really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. When Gerd Gill came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Kiekbusch fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerd Gill couldn't finish the play. If Otis Mauthe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcus Greilinger to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerd Gill in the 55th minute of play forced Henglarn's goalkeeper Georg Marke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Otis Mauthe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Georg Marke was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Otis Mauthe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Georg Marke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 66 minutes of play Kiekbusch's Arjen Jetter was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Henglarn booed when Kiekbusch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arjen Jetter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerd Gill might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Georg Marke. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gerd Gill ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 71st match minute, Henglarn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximilian Sziedat to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute, Gerd Gill got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gerd Gill recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Kiekbusch's Beppo Rackstein got a free kick in the 75th minute. Nikolas Schäffner got his second yellow card in the match during the 81st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. If Gerd Gill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Otis Mauthe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Kiekbusch had played much better football throughout.
