Pascal Börger acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 88th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jorck Fickert. In the 94th minute, one of FC. St. Tropez:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC. St. Tropez. The referee gave CNS-POL-SE a penalty, 96 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Günther Bergmann, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC. St. Tropez's Pascal Börger. 0-3. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see FC. St. Tropez lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
