Ole Kühn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Jürn Betz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6th match minute, CNS-POL-SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorck Fickert to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Arthur Link had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jürn Betz. CNS-POL-SE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arthur Link was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. If Ole Kühn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lew Goldkuhle kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Conrad Georgii sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Arthur Link had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, CNS-POL-SE's goal looked a bit too open when Arthur Link came free, but Jürn Betz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jürn Betz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Link in the 42nd minute of the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arthur Link to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, CNS-POL-SE's Conrad Georgii got a free kick in the 56th minute. Ole Kühn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jürn Betz having to interfere. CNS-POL-SE's Jürn Betz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ole Kühn in the 61st minute of play. Jürn Betz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arthur Link's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. The supporters of TSV 1860 München booed when CNS-POL-SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörn Igelbüscher didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arthur Link in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jürn Betz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 70th minute Arthur Link shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jürn Betz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CNS-POL-SE's Jürn Betz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arthur Link in the 84th minute of play. The TSV 1860 München fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when TSV 1860 München's Matthias Barnick looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Frederic Burkhard hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in TSV 1860 München's zone, Günther Bergmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacek Rüschenbaum came out of the goal and Günther Bergmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. TSV 1860 München walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
