FC. St. Tropez's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oberpierscheid FSV the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC. St. Tropez's Ringo Thein got a free kick in the 14th minute. Marcel Hildebrand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascal Börger having to interfere. Reimo Machleid hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Carl Schock's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Asmus Rady read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. FC. St. Tropez's attentive Reimo Machleid managed to snatch the ball when Marco Hauser made a throw-in in the 36th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthias W Drewniak in the 38th minute of play forced FC. St. Tropez's goalkeeper Pascal Börger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, Reimo Machleid hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matthias W Drewniak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Pascal Börger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carl Schock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matthias W Drewniak made a kick off. Pascal Börger was a little too slow when Matthias W Drewniak got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in FC. St. Tropez's zone, Matthias W Drewniak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pascal Börger came out of the goal and Matthias W Drewniak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Friedemann Gögge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Asmus Rady took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carl Schock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hartwig Huthreuter's late challenge caught a FC. St. Tropez's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hartwig Huthreuter helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Oberpierscheid FSV getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Hartwig Huthreuter hit a great ball. Carl Schock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Friedemann Gögge during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd match minute, Oberpierscheid FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Friedemann Gögge to maneuver through the defense. Pascal Börger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthias W Drewniak in the 77th minute of play. If Matthias W Drewniak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Carl Schock ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Asmus Rady was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Matthias W Drewniak did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Pascal Börger 87 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute, Axel Marek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chants of Oberpierscheid FSV echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as FC. St. Tropez had held the ball for most of the match.
