In the 37th minute of the match Nikolas Schäffner sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arend Blecke skillfully saved the ball. Pit Faller's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Georg Marke read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Wanja Thurow dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Georg Marke, 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

After having played for 51 minutes, Wanja Thurow managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Henglarn were furious when Friedrich Krinke was red carded, 77 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Maximilian Sziedat kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Georg Marke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pit Faller in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pit Faller in the 91st minute of play forced Henglarn's goalkeeper Georg Marke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wanja Thurow, 92 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Pit Faller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Volker Fimmen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georg Marke having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gandersum had played much better football throughout.
