Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Matthias W Drewniak started the match with the kick off. Arend Blecke was a little too slow when Matthias W Drewniak got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 3rd minute. The score was now 1-0. Oberpierscheid FSV's Asmus Rady played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wanja Thurow in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th minute Wanja Thurow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Asmus Rady saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Friedemann Gögge fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oberpierscheid FSV's protests and gave Friedemann Gögge a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Oberpierscheid FSV's Friedemann Gögge got a free kick in the 10th minute. Asmus Rady showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wanja Thurow, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Marcel Hildebrand took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Arend Blecke to make any attempt to save it. Arend Blecke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Josip Gänßle in the 20th minute. Arend Blecke was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Josip Gänßle showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 20 minute of play. Asmus Rady took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wanja Thurow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Friedemann Gögge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Asmus Rady showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pit Faller in the 32nd minute of the match. When Friedemann Gögge was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 33 minutes had been played. Friedemann Gögge hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Asmus Rady took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pit Faller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pit Faller in the 40th minute of play forced Oberpierscheid FSV's goalkeeper Asmus Rady to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Asmus Rady didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wanja Thurow went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Matthias W Drewniak hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wanja Thurow to make the kick off. Josip Gänßle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Arend Blecke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Oberpierscheid FSV getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Josip Gänßle hit a great ball. Asmus Rady showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wanja Thurow, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After 61 played minutes Oberpierscheid FSV got a freekick which was hit by Reinhard Bronner. Josip Gänßle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matthias W Drewniak hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the game, Volker Fimmen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Asmus Rady was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Gandersum booed when Oberpierscheid FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthias W Drewniak didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Wanja Thurow took a quick shot and it went in 3-3 without a chance for Asmus Rady to make any attempt to save it. Asmus Rady didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Volker Fimmen went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. Asmus Rady made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Pit Faller sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Asmus Rady successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Pit Faller kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Asmus Rady. That made the score 3-5 in the 87 minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Oberpierscheid FSV's goalkeeper Asmus Rady had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pit Faller. Asmus Rady was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Volker Fimmen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-6 in the 91 minute of play. In the 96th minute, Gandersum's Wanja Thurow dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-7. Gandersum's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
