Spectators: 7346 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 120) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Klaus Figge started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Leißling FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Corvinus Schmitt hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Vörös Lobogó FC's Roland Pöttgen got a free kick in the 10th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thomas Popp in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Will Steinmetz saved Leißling FC from getting behind. In the 17th minute, Thomas Popp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vörös Lobogó FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 20thth minute of the game Thomas Popp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leißling FC's Will Steinmetz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 26th minute, Klaus Figge reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Joakim Himmelmann. The goal made the score 1-2. Alban Berlingen struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Will Steinmetz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vörös Lobogó FC. In the 37th minute Klaus Figge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joakim Himmelmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute of the game, Hartwig Kehr landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Leißling FC made a substitution. Gerold Abts replaced Hartwig Kehr. After a rather tough play, Vörös Lobogó FC's Volker Dirks got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After 44 played minutes Vörös Lobogó FC got a freekick which was hit by Velten Majewski. Klaus Figge in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Joakim Himmelmann, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After the first half Vörös Lobogó FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thomas Popp to strike the kick off in the second half. Will Steinmetz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Popp in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Klaus Figge made a precise shot to the right of Joakim Himmelmann. Vörös Lobogó FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Will Steinmetz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Popp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leißling FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Volker Dirks scored to the left of an out of position Will Steinmetz, making the score, 2-3. In the 63rd minute Volker Dirks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Will Steinmetz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, Omar Gnoyke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thomas Popp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Will Steinmetz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Joseph Bruske hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Omar Gnoyke struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Will Steinmetz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vörös Lobogó FC. In the 95th match minute, Leißling FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antoine Hartmann to maneuver through the defense. Vörös Lobogó FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
