Ole Dittrich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wolf Szymczakowski in the 12th minute of play. 1.FC Union Berlin's Wolf Szymczakowski got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 21 played minutes Kämpfer Tubus Team got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Pehr. Wolf Szymczakowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ole Dittrich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eduard Siegert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, Kämpfer Tubus Team's goal looked a bit too open when Wolf Szymczakowski came free, but Ole Dittrich reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ole Dittrich made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henrico Bluhm in the 57th minute. After having played for 58 minutes, Eduard Siegert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 1.FC Union Berlin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduard Siegert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ole Dittrich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudolf Roese, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Ole Dittrich showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudolf Roese in the 68th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Bartolo Schöpfer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the match, 1.FC Union Berlin's goal looked a bit too open when Raban Polat came free, but Michael Schraier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
