In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Chelsea Cottbus's goalkeeper Henning Schwalm, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 4 minutes into the match, FC Chelsea Cottbus's goal looked a bit too open when Fynn Haustein came free, but Henning Schwalm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fynn Haustein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to FC Chelsea Cottbus getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Gunnar Betzmann hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Bollfeld's Roland Butz tried to score from far away in the 12th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of FC Chelsea Cottbus:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bollfeld:s goal. FC Chelsea Cottbus:s Henning Schwalm showed great skill when he stopped Roland Butz:s penalty. 16 minutes into the match, Roland Butz notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Chelsea Cottbus's Henning Schwalm. Henning Schwalm was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fynn Haustein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hans Ellermann in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henning Schwalm saved FC Chelsea Cottbus from getting behind. 37 minutes into the game, Bollfeld's Fynn Haustein nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henning Schwalm made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 40th minute, one of FC Chelsea Cottbus:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Chelsea Cottbus. The referee gave Bollfeld a penalty, 42 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Roland Butz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Chelsea Cottbus's Henning Schwalm. 1-3. When Hans Ellermann came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Bollfeld fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hans Ellermann couldn't finish the play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eike Baumeister to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Bollfeld's Fynn Haustein sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henning Schwalm narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hans Ellermann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henning Schwalm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Eike Baumeister ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cosmo Wehlmann was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Henning Schwalm made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Falk Steimer sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Falk Steimer during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 71st minute, Falk Steimer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cosmo Wehlmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eike Baumeister, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Luke Ungewitter fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bollfeld's protests and gave Luke Ungewitter a yellow card for diving instead. In the 77th minute, Fynn Haustein got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Henning Schwalm made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Fynn Haustein sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Bollfeld booed when FC Chelsea Cottbus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gunnar Betzmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hans Ellermann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute Alfons Müseler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosmo Wehlmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Bollfeld could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Chelsea Cottbus throughout the match.
