Seeon's Cornelis Kunze got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Speedstars's Ali Beushausen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arno Hennig in the 7th minute of play. Thilo Wimmer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Ali Beushausen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arno Hennig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 18 played minutes Speedstars got a freekick which was hit by Carsten Olyschläger. After 22 played minutes, Seeon's Thilo Wimmer shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ali Beushausen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Seeon reached it. Carsten Olyschläger kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute of the match Philipp Schabert sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ali Beushausen skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Speedstars booed when Seeon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philipp Schabert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Johann Ansmann received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eckart Eck came out and tried to block the shot, but Johann Ansmann slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 35th minute. After having played for 47 minutes, Ekpenyong Benkel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Seeon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ekpenyong Benkel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arno Hennig was the one to do the kick off. Ali Beushausen made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Arno Hennig sent off a good shot on target. An unexpected shot in the 59th minute by Arno Hennig got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Arno Hennig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seeon's supporters rose to their feet, but Arno Hennig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Beushausen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Niklas Lanier charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niklas Lanier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Speedstars's Niklas Lanier got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 67 minutes into the game, Bertil Hirt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A sloppy throw-in by Giacomo Kremer in the 86th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Seeon's Cornelis Kunze. Bertil Hirt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eckart Eck having to interfere. Ali Beushausen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arno Hennig in the 96th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, Speedstars could leave the field as winners, despite Seeon having more of the ball for most of the match.
