Seeon's Eckart Eck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hubert Bulling in the 3rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Seeon defense, Viktor Graumünz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eckart Eck. The Seeon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eckart Eck should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Seeon getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Ekpenyong Benkel hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, Hubert Bulling had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eckart Eck. Seeon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hubert Bulling was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Eckart Eck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hubert Bulling, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Andi Drobinski was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 43 minutes into the match. Andi Drobinski hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The Carolinensiel FSV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Carolinensiel FSV's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
