Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cornelis Kunze started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Arno Hennig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 4th match minute, Seeon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Mört to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute, Pinkas Nieth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerold Erkeling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelis Kunze in the 7th minute of the match. Udo Binding recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Thilo Wimmer fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Seeon's protests and gave Thilo Wimmer a yellow card for diving instead. After 12 played minutes Seeon got a freekick which was hit by Thilo Wimmer. After 17 minutes, Che Bister mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Poppendorf FC and the Seeon players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Seeon booed when Poppendorf FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Che Bister didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Georg Rose managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poppendorf FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Georg Rose was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Seeon's goalkeeper Eckart Eck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Georg Rose had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eckart Eck. Seeon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Georg Rose was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Udo Binding in the 35th minute of play forced Seeon's goalkeeper Eckart Eck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Seeon's goal looked a bit too open when Georg Rose came free, but Eckart Eck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Udo Binding in the 38th minute of play forced Seeon's goalkeeper Eckart Eck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eckart Eck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Udo Binding, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arno Hennig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Udo Binding to make the kick off. Che Bister shot the penalty kick right outside the post. With a little luck, Seeon's Eckart Eck got control of the ball when Georg Rose tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 66th minute, Poppendorf FC's Udo Binding dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Arno Hennig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerold Erkeling having to interfere. Eckart Eck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Udo Binding, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 76 minutes into the match, Seeon's goalkeeper Eckart Eck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Georg Rose. Ekpenyong Benkel charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ekpenyong Benkel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ekpenyong Benkel hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Arno Hennig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Gerold Erkeling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arno Hennig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerold Erkeling having to interfere. Eckart Eck made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Georg Rose sent off a good shot on target. Eckart Eck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Udo Binding in the 94th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Georg Rose got free with Eckart Eck in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Poppendorf FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
