Spectators: 7203 (Terracing: 5603, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Achim Trenner made the kick off which started today's match. If Bertil Hirt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bertil Hirt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Kurth having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Gamlen's zone, Bertil Hirt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prospero Kurth came out of the goal and Bertil Hirt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd minute, Bertil Hirt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Johann Ansmann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Prospero Kurth read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertil Hirt in the 27th minute of play forced Gamlen's goalkeeper Prospero Kurth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Johann Ansmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Kurth having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Gamlen's goal looked a bit too open when Johann Ansmann came free, but Prospero Kurth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Johann Ansmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Speedstars's supporters rose to their feet, but Johann Ansmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prospero Kurth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Bertil Hirt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 48 minutes, Bertil Hirt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Speedstars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bertil Hirt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 57th minute, Bertil Hirt made a precise shot to the right of Prospero Kurth. Gamlen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Johann Ansmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Johann Ansmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 74 minutes, Bertil Hirt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Speedstars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bertil Hirt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 79 minutes into the match, Bertil Hirt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Prospero Kurth. Gamlen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bertil Hirt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Speedstars were awarded a corner in the 99th minute after Gamlen's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Carsten Olyschläger took the corner. When the referee ended the match the Speedstars players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
