An unexpectedly hard shot by Udo Binding in the 12th minute of play forced Speedstars's goalkeeper Ali Beushausen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, Bertil Hirt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Speedstars's Ali Beushausen got control of the ball when Georg Rose tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17th minute Simon Rösch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Beushausen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paolo Strasser charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paolo Strasser the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Paolo Strasser kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. If Johann Ansmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Poppendorf FC's Ali Beushausen threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Udo Binding, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Pinkas Nieth could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Ali Beushausen made a huge save. Bertil Hirt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Gerold Erkeling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Poppendorf FC's Udo Binding got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With 43 minutes on the clock, Carsten Olyschläger commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Speedstars:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Poppendorf FC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 45 minutes, Poppendorf FC's Che Bister got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ali Beushausen.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bertil Hirt was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Poppendorf FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bertil Hirt fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 53rd minute, Georg Rose left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Poppendorf FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Ali Beushausen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georg Rose in the 56th minute of play. In the 63rd minute Georg Rose shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Beushausen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65thth minute of the game Udo Binding who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Speedstars's Ali Beushausen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ali Beushausen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Georg Rose, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. When Poppendorf FC's Udo Binding in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gerold Erkeling was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Georg Rose recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ali Beushausen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Udo Binding in the 82nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Speedstars's Achim Bechstein got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Ali Beushausen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Udo Binding, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute.
