Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 5th minute Olav Böringer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fridun Lübke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Christian Stüber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Dustin Haug came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Abgunst fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dustin Haug couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christian Stüber during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 20 played minutes TSV Bad Blankenburg got a freekick which was hit by Christian Stüber. Fridun Lübke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lasse Bästlein in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Pit Passmann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TSV Bad Blankenburg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Abgunst the free kick. Dustin Haug fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sylvain Lawen having to interfere. Dustin Haug sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

Sylvain Lawen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andy Reile in the 74th minute of play. Sylvain Lawen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eckhard Kittler in the 79th minute of the match. Fridun Lübke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lasse Bästlein in the 88th minute of play. Dustin Haug sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Dustin Haug got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle went the supporters of TSV Bad Blankenburg were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Abgunst side.
