The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oskar Vehma helped the player get up and apologised. Rutger Schmitt struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Klaus-Dieter Heisters didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vehrensande. 27 minutes into the match, Franz Füllkrug notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Vehrensande's Robert Kamper. Robert Kamper was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Karsten Ollert took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Robert Kamper. FC Trio's Klaus-Dieter Heisters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Batho Havemann in the 46th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Batho Havemann was the one to do the kick off. Rutger Schmitt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 56thth minute of the game Batho Havemann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Trio's Klaus-Dieter Heisters was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Björn Orlowski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Robert Kamper came out and tried to block the shot, but Björn Orlowski slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 57th minute. When Ratko Täger fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Trio's protests and gave Ratko Täger a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Trio getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Ratko Täger hit a great ball. Björn Orlowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Franz Füllkrug got free with Robert Kamper in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68th minute, Cicero Ertl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Klaus-Dieter Heisters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rutger Schmitt in the 74th minute of play. Klaus-Dieter Heisters took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rutger Schmitt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franz Füllkrug sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Franz Füllkrug fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Kamper having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
