Arian Lafontaine came out of the goal and Raimund Wruck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Checkpoint's Raimund Wruck in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lothar Stötzel to make the kick off. Checkpoint were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
