In the 92nd minute, Mathias Bittcher fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mehmet Ali Rech, passed just outside the right post. In the 94th minute, Theodor Maaßen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Poppenwind had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
