Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Lichtenborn's goal looked a bit too open when Thilo Rump came free, but Reiko Klein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laurence Nelius who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Abel Neubert when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 9th minute Heiner Boddenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Neubert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Laurence Nelius ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abel Neubert was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. If Laurence Nelius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Abel Neubert successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Fortschritt Oschatz booed when Lichtenborn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manfred Fuchtel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 28 played minutes Lichtenborn got a freekick which was hit by Manfred Fuchtel. In the 32nd minute, Heiner Boddenberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Abel Neubert. The goal made the score 4-0. Balduin Wanders's late challenge caught a Lichtenborn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Balduin Wanders helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th minute, Balduin Wanders hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Palle Sebastian during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Palle Sebastian kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. A hard shot 40 in the game by Laurence Nelius from a close distance when the talented Abel Neubert managed to make a qualified save. Fortschritt Oschatz's players were relieved. When Lichtenborn's Heiner Boddenberg in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fortschritt Oschatz's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Fortschritt Oschatz's Balduin Wanders got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Lichtenborn's Manfred Fuchtel suffered a concussion in the 45th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Andrew Anlohse's late challenge caught a Lichtenborn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andrew Anlohse helped the player get up and apologised. Lichtenborn made a substitution. Gideon Attenberger replaced Manfred Fuchtel. Andrew Anlohse hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

Franz-Peter Lütkebohmert kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Heiner Boddenberg in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Neubert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fortschritt Oschatz's Abel Neubert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurence Nelius in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurence Nelius in the 67th minute of play forced Fortschritt Oschatz's goalkeeper Abel Neubert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Heiner Boddenberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abel Neubert having to make a save. In the 75thth minute of the game Laurence Nelius who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fortschritt Oschatz's Abel Neubert was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Heiner Boddenberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Abel Neubert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heiner Boddenberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Abel Neubert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heiner Boddenberg in the 79th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Heiner Boddenberg in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abel Neubert saved Fortschritt Oschatz from getting behind. Abel Neubert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heiner Boddenberg in the 87th minute of the match. When Lichtenborn's Laurence Nelius in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fortschritt Oschatz's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Laurence Nelius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abel Neubert was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Abel Neubert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heiner Boddenberg in the 91st minute of the match. Abel Neubert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurence Nelius in the 92nd minute of play. Abel Neubert came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Lichtenborn's Heiner Boddenberg. But to his dismay, Heiner Boddenberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. When the referee ended the match the Lichtenborn players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
